What is the best Upright Vacuum Cleaner?

FAQ I have a dog and want to buy an upright vacuum cleaner that is the best for hoovering up dog hairs. Someone suggested a Dyson Animal., has anyone got any suggestions or experience of the best on the market? Many thanks for your help.

A: Miele do a pet vacuum which is great. Its a cylinder type with a motorised brush head but to be honest, you cant beat the Dyson. I have the Dyson now and its amazing how quickly it gets filled, which you can physically see. Also in case you dont know.

The new upright vacuum cleaners are more streamlined than previous models as many of the components are now hidden inside the ball. The hose has been redesigned to make it easier to remove.

This Sucks

We went to a bagless vacuum cleaner a few years ago. Our previous ten years and was worn and crumbling, and it was made by a company that is best known for the manufacture of sewing machines, but the main reason we got rid of it because we were out of bags for her . There is nothing particularly remarkable about it. This is not a three-ton Kirby and not a fat-ass Dyson in certain colors of the 80s and it is not one of those "cartridge" of models that makes sense for me even if I I grew up with anyone in the house (a Kenmore, BTW)....
