Gus Macker draws thousands of basektball lovers to downtown

Despite the weather problems early, Downtown Association manager and organizer Gus Macker Dana Matz said the tournament went smoothly, largely thanks to the 350 volunteers who helped make the weekend.

Although the number of teams is down slightly this year, Matz was pleased with the crowd of about 2,000 made the Macker in downtown Zanesville.
