Acrylic or Gel Nails
I want to get my nails done for my sisters wedding and I'm not sure if i should get gel or acrylic nails. I am only getting them done for the wedding and am not planning to get them filled once they grow out because of cost. So which is better to get

Its your choice really.
I would reccomend gel ones they are a little more soft and flexible( not enough to bend though). acrylics are stonger ad more painful if they get taken off.

Way back in October, I received the full system from Knockout Nails to review and I’ve been playing with it ever since. Here’s my review of what just may be the coolest thing ever.
Background : With a super jammed packed schedule, I tried months ago the Gel nails from several salons to see if just maybe, I could save some time (and maybe money) on getting that weekly manicure that pretty much is gone 3/4 days after I get it, (which only leads to more time spent at the nail salon, sigh.)
The first salon I went to to try the new gel manicure, the manicurist turned me off so much that I vowed never to go there again (yes, I really loved you talking to me like a stupid 3 year old every time I had a question), but she did explain the difference between the gel manicure (gets taken off every 2/3 weeks) and the gel nails (gets touched up every month, similar to the acrylic nail.)
My friend and I are going to have our nails done at a salon and wondered what kind we should. there is a choice between gel and powder, but we have no idea which last longer, * * look better, feel better, yadayadayada. any info on acrylic nails is great. just do not say how it makes your nails, we know everything and we'll do it anyway.
One is the difference in the product. Gel tends to be softer and breaks more easily, where acrylic is much more durable, but damage to your nails. It makes your nails very fragile and breaks easily.The other difference is that the gels are less harmful. The only reason is that the filing process. Gels require the filing of a much less on the natural nail. As for the acrylic which usually have the drill and a lot more work....
