Given what a giant company Nokia is, the uncertainty surrounding the struggling handset maker’s future is becoming bizarre. Among analysts there is no consensus as to whether the company will succeed or fail with its bold and risky bet on the Microsoft Windows Phone platform .

This was especially apparent on Thursday, when bankers at Credit Suisse lifted the Finnish company’s rating to “buy” and spiked its target price saying it “fundamentally believes” that Nokia’s focus on Windows will allow it to recover and pick up steam 2012. At the same time, UBS cut the company’s target price, saying it “continues to believe that Nokia faces significant long-term challenges.”

In the case of Nokia, bankers have very little, if any, substantial data to fill their complicated valuation models with.

I grew painfully used for these poor performances by Nokia in India. And I'm sorry to say I am quite tired of it.They say that India their second market, then they make phones a year later. Ridiculous.

I do not even want to think how long the N8 might take to get here. Although I am happy to eat my words if it does reach the time....
